Revisited to enjoy another excellent Ranchero Supreme which surprisingly had fresh cooked thick bacon.

Came in with a big appetite, I was attended fast and with care. Now let me tell you, when it comes to the food, these guys do not play around. (Guaranteed fresh and fast if you're there when they're not busy) The super taco is an absolute filler, I thought I was going to need 2 to fill me up, but 1 was perfectly fine. I really appreciate the waiter not missing a refill because the super taco was a lot of food. I left the store happier than when I got there because the waiters and staff didn't stop service until I completely left the building. Wonderful service and delicious food. What more can you ask for?

This place is a local legend! Monsterous tacos and a great variety of filling options and combinations. The tortillas are excellent and form just enough gluten in the process to be sturdy enough for even the messiest of fillings, while still being tender, fluffy, and delicious. The salsas are serves warm and are tasty. If you're looking for an extra kick of spicy, get the grilled serranos! My drink was kept full without asking and service was overall acceptable. $3.50 for a soda or tea is getting to be absurd, but the overall experience is just fine. It ain't fancy, but that's what you'd expect from a hole-in-the-wall taco joint in San Antonio.

I hadn't been to this place in decades and to my surprise my sister-in-law asked me if I had ever heard of it. She then challenged me to a taco-off. So on August 12th we went and it was phenomenal. The thing that wasn't was the parking. The parking is almost non-existent and being such a local favorite most people knew to park along down the residential street. When we walked in it was just as I remembered it and you walk right into the expo area and you have to take a left and you walk through the service area before you get to where the dining room is and it is a small dining room, but one filled with attentive servers and happily fed customers eating great food. They have an extensive menu and they have regular-sized tacos as well as their famous Super tacos. The price is worth the food and we ordered quite a bit. We ordered their ranchero taco , the Mara taco, the chilaquiles taco, which my wife could not stop raving about and she is very picky when it comes to her breakfast tacos. We also had bacon and egg ala mexicana and a carne guisada. All the tortillas are made fresh and the sweet tea was done right. I definitely recommend this local hometown favorite and will definitely go agian. Oh and if you are wondering I was able to eat 2 super tacos and I beat the cunada. She ate 1 and a half, LOL. Silly Rabbit I told her she wasn't ready for me. So do yourself a favor and go visit, but like I said expect to have to hunt for parking. We noticed an empty building at the corner of the street not even 30 yards from the restaurant which would make for a great spacious new location. Wink Wink...just sayin'
